Reception and Artist Talk: Remington

Remington initiated her relationship with art by using color as an educational tool. This early method of making sense of the information that was provided to her blossomed into her current art practice. In Think Loudly, Speak Softly Remington uses her practice as a way of processing and responding to her life experiences by investigating how events and memories are represented through the contrasts between color, pouring techniques and structured geometric shapes.
