Sacramento, CA - August 24, 2018, John will exhibit oil paintings, ceramic

sculpture and ceramic functional ware. The work in clay includes pieces fired in Elkton,

Oregon, from the anagama/noborigama of Hiroshi Ogawa.

What:  A 1970 graduate in Philosophy, John became a potter and painter and also began a 34 year career in Information Technology. During this time, he studied art at Sacramento City College with Fred Dalkey, Larry Welden and at CSUS with Ruth Rippon and Ben

Kyprdakis.  Working as a full time artist, John maintains a studio in Sacramento where he
