“Lazy Doug is a farmer who works very long hours on his farm. He grows green beans as far as the eye can see. You can find him tilling the fields, watering his crops and chasing away the birds. He is also a bug. His therapist tells him he deserves a vacation. Lazy Doug, the bug who is also a farmer who grows green beans exclusively, decides to enter a sweepstakes for a trip to the Big Islands. He submits several entries with his multiple email addresses and wins! This is the story of the bug who won an all expenses paid trip to the Big Islands.”

The exhibition is comprised of photographic prints of various sizes placed intuitively throughout Double Strength. The work spans a transformative time in the artist's life. The artist would like to believe he went through great change and personal growth. These experiences are difficult to capture so the artist has decided to use the opportunity to highlight the abstract nature of self being. Maybe these are all vacation photos from a tropical island or maybe they are the moments between the many events that have left him wondering— what could be next?
