Join us at Firstsite for the start of the Christmas Light Parade.

Experience an immersive light installation and live performances from local musicians and artists in the Firstsite foyer from 3pm. Explore our free exhibitions, including a new exhibition of dazzling light artworks from artist Sue Webster. Then join our big countdown and wave off the parade at 5pm.

Throughout the afternoon you can enjoy a selection of curries and hot pastry snacks from our festive pop-up café – along with a special children’s menu of hot dogs and pasta and sweet treats for all.

 

Afternoon Line-up

 

3:00pm – Visual effects display by visual artist Liam Roberts that will light up the Firstsite Foyer

3:15pm – Music & Sound Show by Isobelle Khan (DJ) and Evy Frearson (Singer/Songwriter) from CliP Club Colchester

4:00pm – Electric Violin Performance from local drag performer Aria Close

5:00pm – The Big Parade Send Off!
