A Stitch in Time, an international online solo fiber art exhibition by Vince Quevedo opens on March 04, and will continue for two months until May 04, 2024.
Vince Quevedo's work is grounded in human experience, reflective practice, and learning through making. It uses the methods of quilting, craft (making by hand), photography, and digital arts, and to critically question elements of contemporary culture and society. It sits within the context of arts and culture via the celebration of our human imagination that is manifest through art and celebrated via exhibitions in museums and galleries.

Artist:
Vince Quevedo is a national and international award winning designer/artist in the areas of fashion design, wearable arts and creative teaching methods. Professor Quevedo received his Bachelor of Science degree in Clothing and Textiles and his Master's of Science degree in Workforce Education and Development with a focus on college teaching at Southern Illinois University. He received his Master of Fine Arts in textiles/fiber from University of Nebraska.
For many years he was selected as one of four Americans to represent the United States at the Busan International Fiber-Fashion and Art biennial in South Korea. He has been a finalist/winner in the American Quilter's Association's design competition for the past 20 years and has been selected to design for the prestigious Bernina Fashion Show which travels throughout the United States and at times in Asia and Europe. Vince has 4 patents in functional and aesthetic design.
